| ATG AUTOTECHNIK GmbH manufactures
three main versions of the ARTIC-O-MAT
turntable
- The Standard for high floor applications
- The Compact for low floor applications
- The Limbo for ultra-low floor applications
The Standard ARTIC-O-MAT, in production
since 1983, is the basis for all three versions of our turntable.
The Standard unit has been simplified and
improved on a regular basis over the last 17 years.
The main mechanical, hydraulic and electrical / electronic
components are common to all versions.
The Standard turntable is a very robust
unit suitable for regular high floor articulated buses. It
is uncomplicated, easy to install and most important it is
built to last with a minimum of service and maintenance. |
The first Compact ARTIC-O-MAT was built
in 1988 for low floor buses. NEOPLAN , Viberti / IVECO and
DAF have versions of this turntable in service.
The Lyon version of the ARTIC-O-MAT was
designed for RENAULT based on these designs.
The Limbo ARTIC-O-MAT has the lowest installation
height.
The first version of this turntable (Limbo 200)
had a height of 180 mm from the top of the cover plate to
the bottom of the support frame. This unit went into service
in November 1995 in a New Flyer D60LF. The latest version
of this turntable is the Limbo II 350, with
a floor height of 160 mm.
